Your Privacy Choices

Manage, export, or delete your Amanah Budget data at any time — directly from the app.

All three options below are available directly inside the Amanah Budget app. No need to contact us — you have full control of your data at any time. If you need additional help, reach us at privacy@amanahfund.com.

Edit or correct your data
Update transactions, categories, and profile information

You can edit any transaction, category, or profile detail directly in the app at any time. Changes take effect immediately.

  1. 1Open Amanah Budget and tap More in the tab bar
  2. 2Go to Settings → Profile to update your name or email
  3. 3To edit a transaction, tap it in Activity and make changes inline
  4. 4To manage categories, go to Settings → Categories

Disconnect your bank accounts
Remove Plaid connections and stop data syncing at any time

Bank connections are read-only and managed through Plaid. You can disconnect any linked account at any time — this immediately stops all data syncing. Already-synced transactions remain in your history unless you delete them.

  1. 1Open Amanah Budget and tap More in the tab bar
  2. 2Go to Settings → Connected Banks
  3. 3Tap a bank and select Disconnect

You can also manage your Plaid data permissions directly at my.plaid.com.

Export your data
Receive a full copy of your data sent to your email

You can request a full export of your Amanah Budget data at any time. A file containing your transactions, budgets, goals, and account information will be sent directly to your registered email address.

  1. 1Open Amanah Budget and tap More in the tab bar
  2. 2Go to Settings → Account
  3. 3Tap Export My Data — the file will be emailed to you within a few minutes

Delete your account and all data
Permanently removes all your data from our servers

Deleting your account permanently removes all data associated with it — transactions, budgets, goals, Ramadan plans, and your profile. This action cannot be undone.

  1. 1Open Amanah Budget and tap More in the tab bar
  2. 2Go to Settings → Account
  3. 3Tap Delete Account and confirm

Your Plaid bank connections will also be disconnected automatically. Subscription billing stops at the end of your current billing period.
